It has been just over three months since Art returned home from his year long deployment in Iraq. Since then it has been a whirlwind of excitement, emotions, and craziness but I have enjoyed every moment of it because... it is "ours". Our crazy life, our unending love for one another, and our supportive family. I am most thankful for the opportunity to reconnect with my husband and each day I am reminded of how much I love him and how lucky I am to spend the rest of my life with a man who loves me just as much as I love him.
In this post, I want to share some of the moments that we have spent reconnecting with eachother as well as our family, and friends....

The Saratoga Springs Turkey Trot - November 24. 2011
This annual 5K run is hosted in the city of Saratoga Springs to support the Christopher Daily Foundation. Christopher was an active 8 year old boy who died suddenly. In honor of his memory, the Foundation was created to build a lasting memory of him by building a youth recreational facility in the Saratoga area.
Art and I have run in this 5K every year since we moved to Saratoga County.
Halloween 2011
We spent the evening participating in "Trunk or Treat" at Temple Baptist Church handing out candy and spending time with our dear friends the Conklins.
